Updates for Light Up Camden 2018

It’s hard to pick the the best part of Light Up Camden Festival.
- Markets stalls with many interesting things
- Eat Street with food to satisfy all tastes
- Sideshow Alley with rides and fun for all ages
- Entertainment on stage for the family with
Santa and songs to celebrate the beginning of the Christmas season
- The Mayor’s Christmas Card Winner announcement
- The highlight of the evening:
the Countdown to when the Camden Christmas Tree is lit for the first time.
- Amazing Fireworks at the conclusion of the Evening.
How to Find Us
Argyle & John St Camden
Argyle Street and John Street in Camden are closed off to cars and filled with stalls and pedestrians as well as a stage, centred around the huge Camden Christmas Tree and Santa.
Larkin Place holds enough rides and sideshows to delight all ages.
Camden is 65km south west of Sydney.
You can reach us by car or by train & bus.
Or, if you live locally, by walking or bike.
ENTRY IS FREE
Argyle Street Street will be closed from 12noon Saturday.
Lower John Street will be closed from 10am.
Cars should not be parked on on Argyle St from 10am and John St from 9am.
Parking is available at Camden Bicentennial Equestrian Park, Rotary Cowpastures Reserve, Onslow Park and the new Camden Council car park in Oxley Street.
Bus Stop Changes
The Bus Stop in John Street will not be available on Saturday. The bus Stop in Elizabeth Street will be available.
The nearest train station to Camden is Campbelltown. You will need to catch a bus from Campbelltown Station to Camden.
We are hardy folk, so a little bit of weather doesn’t bother us. That is, if we get anything to talk about!
If, in the unlikely event that there is what we consider real WEATHER (such as thunderstorms and lightening), then we will take the appropriate action.
